Pinnacle is supporting peasant community of nearby villages and driving plantation activities. The organization planted trees in villages for supporting local communities. Around two teams of highly enthusiastic volunteers from Pinnacle along with the members of Inner Wheel Club of Durgapur executed this programme for two consecutive days. The two teams of around 40 people were consistently mentored by a team of 5 Gardeners. A mini orchard of 3 saplings (namely Guava, Lemon and Papaya) was planted for each family at Charridanga and Karandanga villages. Every family will nurture these plants to ensure maximum sustainability and nutritional benefits. Seeds of different vegetable plants were also sowed at the villagers’ courtyards to enhance the nutritional content of food. This program created a socio-environmental impact for preserving greenery and addressing social problems.
