Cyclone Yaas ravaged the southern parts of West Bengal, especially the Sagardwip island and Sunderbans. More than 4000 houses and large swathes of agricultural lands were damaged. In addition, necessities like drinking water and sanitation services have taken a hit.
Ramakrishna Vivekananda Sevashrama, Durgapur has been undertaking relief work to restore normalcy in these areas. Pinnacle donated Rs 2 Lakhs to support them in their humanitarian efforts.
