Value Added

  1. BIM is utilized to coordinate location of safety tie-off devices throughout the building, increase coordination of trades to reduce rework and thus increase safety – Rework exposes subcontractors to unnecessary safety hazards that are completely eliminated when rework is eliminated.
  2. The contractor utilized BIM for coordination and communication of site logistics including Bluebeam pdf markups which are used to convey construction areas, traffic patterns and material handling schemes such as crane placement.
  3. BIM Modeling helped to increase quality by utilizing the model to check field conditions and installations – Each subcontractor ensured that the work is being installed according to the coordinated Construction Model
  4. Used Revit collaboration for back and forth work from both ends.
  5. Rerouted layout for matching updated sleeve position
