2239 West Land Port of Entry

Location: Calexico, California, USA
Located in the business center of the Calexico-Mexicali metropolitan area, divided by an international boundary, West Land Port constitutes one of the two ports of entry in the Imperial Valley area of California. The designed landform serves as a sinuous spine to the site, providing orientation to different modes of traffic including cars, trucks and pedestrians. Along with expansive canopies on the pavilions, the landform provides necessary cooling in the desert climate.
