40 K Stadium

Location: Doha, Qatar
The 40 K Stadium Project in Doha, Qatar is an iconic football stadium that is slated to host matches during the FIFA 2022 World Cup. The stadium is designed to be built from containers, which makes it modular, functional and transportable. Every portion of the stadium consists of a regular and repetitive steel frame system, and using containers is a complete paradigm shift. The 40K stadium follows the rule of modern architecture that is “Truth of materials” which is reflected through exposed services, allowing complete access at all times.
