INOVA ILH (Phase 2B Loudon Bed Tower)

Inova Loudoun Hospital (ILH) and HDR consisting of 1 Building with 8 Floors will be a groundbreaking new patient tower at the hospital’s main campus in Lansdowne. The patient tower, which is being constructed by DPR Construction will be the next phase of the hospital’s $300M Master Plan expansion of facilities and services. The purpose is renovating the Inova Virts Miller Family Emergency and Trauma Center for a bigger, better & faster ER at Inova Loudoun Hospital and upgrading the Inova Loudoun Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. There will be an addition of a new patient tower with all private rooms, a new labor and delivery unit and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.The patient tower is a long construction program laid out in a 2014 master plan. 14-bed observational unit is already completed which is an addition to the Natural Birth Center, the Inova HealthPlex-Ashburn, a surgical center expansion, a heart and vascular institute, among other services and space upgrades. The most recent project to be completed is a parking garage serving patients, visitors and staff going to the emergency room or the campus’ western medical office building.
