We raised 6+ RFIs pertaining to Floor Drain-1 showing size as 2″ but the sanitary pipe size showed 4″. However, we continued with the pipe size 2″ and ignored the 4″.
Moreover, sanitary pipe was clasing with ceiling at Level-1, Grid No. 2, 3 and J, E 11 & Floor Clean-Out was clashing with the wall at Underground Level, Grid in between F, G and 1, 2. We also raised several other queries and clarifications via email, Newforma and Webex meeting and resolved 2000+ clashes including 100 critical clashes. We used 4 sleeves in the underground footing. We made the cut length of P-Trap more than 24 inches to avoid clashes in the mechanical room. We also resolved clashes with fire fighting in the mechanical room. Our single point of contact (project coordinator) helped us to main standard, quality, specifications and templates for the project, facilitating communication between US and India. In addition Newforma implementation facilitated Information Management, Transmittal Management, RFI Management, Revision Management and Tracking Emails.
