The Church of The Redeemer

Location: Florida, USA
Pinnacle created the 3D BIM Model of Church of the Redeemer for Quest Design Group, consisting of a church building with three subdivisions including the North Wing, South Wing and Lady Chapel. We created the BIM models from CAD files for the MEP services provided by the client. We are also responsible for constructability review, sheet preparation and providing the final Design Document in Revit format.

Scope of Work

We have raised 10+ RFIs pertaining to missing data, conflicting data and constructability issues such as missing duct, duct continuation not shown in contract document, air terminal schedule (15-629.1 M-7) showing rectangular necks but plan drawings showing round flex duct connections, part of ducting system going out of the roof when modelled in Revit, duct layouts for air terminal not shown in contract document, missing information about equipment & pipe size, invert elevation, main source of water supply pipe entering into the building not shown in the layout and several other queries to the client. We have also taken suggestion from the client regarding the conflicting data, constructability issues and missing data for instance the type of connections to be made, whether to use plenum, square to round connection or round neck diffuser families, etc. and prepared coordinated BIM Models. The 3D Models helped our client to visualize entire structure before construction, leading to better project planning.
