The new 143,000 SF two and three-story building for the Woodson Park Academy and YMCA project houses a 120,500 SF K-8 Academy, a 13,500 SF YMCA Early Learning Center, a 6,500 SF community-based YMCA Wellness facility, and a 2,500 SF community health clinic at 1605 Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, Atlanta GA.
The facility meets Atlanta Public Schools’ and the Georgia Department of Education’s current elementary and middle school program requirements, and the school’s current and future enrollment, demolishing the existing school building and single family residential buildings.
We showed the demolition of the existing building as well as the construction of the new building with construction fence, cut and fill, site logistics (laydown area and job office), foundation and slab on grade in Phase 1, structural steel, exterior facade and finishes in Phase 2.
We executed the work of model creation from the minimal input provided by the client.
