i. Pinnacle developed AutoCAD: Clean & Fix
Purpose – FINALCAD Clean & Fix will let users to work with an external drawing in the quickest way.If case, you need to make modification on the plan, the FCCLEAN command will let users to erase all potential errors. DARKER, BLACK, GRAYSCALE and ZEROOPACITY are useful if you need to have a better view before plotting on paper and working with white background. a. Revit: Purge Overlapped Elements
Functionality: Used to identify and purge overlapped elements
Purpose: Often it is found that while merging or copying or modifying elements in Revit model two or more elements of the same category and/type get placed at the same location or they partially intersect each other. This results in faulty data in schedules and creates a poor quality output. The tool automatically analyzes the solid geometries and shows the overlapping elements in groups and categorized in the following categories:
Super imposed: identical solid at exactly the same location
overlapped: where two solids of same category intersect each other’s solid geometry partially
Completely overlapped: When one solid with a greater volume is hiding another solid with a lesser volume completely inside it
Compatible with: Revit 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017
b. Revit: Color Splasher
Functionality: Used to highlight elements with distinct combination of property values with distinct colours
Purpose: Reduces manual effort and manual mistakes and gives the luxury of automation for highlighting elements with distinct combination property values by overriding the graphic style on every element.
Compatible with: Revit 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017
c. Revit: Create Selection Set
Functionality: Automatically creates Selection Sets according to the distinct values of a Revit Parameter
Purpose: Reduces manual effort in creating selection sets in Navisworks each time a Revit file is updated
Compatible with: Navisworks 2016
d. Revit: Stair Components
Functionality: Used to calculate and sort by type, the areas of the different stair components such as riser, stringer, tread and run
Purpose: To quantify the stair shuttering area in details, which otherwise is not possible manually for batch execution
Compatible with: Revit 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017
e. Revit: Auto Section View [2D]
Functionality: Used to create Vertical and Horizontal section view
Purpose: Reduces manual effort of drawn aligned section views both in Horizontal and Vertical direction

B. CLEAN DESK AND DESKTOP COMPETITION
Pinnacle Infotech Solution organized Clean WorkStation and Desktop Competition for being a sign of spiritual purity and goodness. The clean desk makes employees look efficient, accomplished and organized.
A team of Jury members evaluated the parameters for workstation and nearby surrounding cleaning:
- Sticky notes, business cards, file folders and important papers should be arranged in a proper way without creating clutter at the workstation
- Drawers and cabinets should not contain papers and documents which do not belong to the workstation owner (Documents which are not in use for a long time can be discarded so that workstation will be clean and paper free)
- No cluttered wires, no dirt on the desk
- No IT components like scrap ear phone, mouse, CDs, keyboard, extension cords, etc should be available in drawers
- Files to be kept in drawers systematically, which can be produced whenever asked
- Use dustbin instead of littering on the floor
- Seat Information to be displayed as under:
Name plate with employee code, important extension number & project information - Important file should be kept in locked cupboard and computer should be locked when employees leave their seats for break
- Turn off printer, scanner, computer, light and other electronic items while leaving for the day
C. Employee Promotion
Promotion of Mr. Sougato Banerjee – Pinnacle announced the promotion of Mr Sougato Banerjee as “Head of MEP” department of Durgapur. Sougato has been an ardent engineer, a sincere and dedicated pioneer Pinnacliete for 16 years. He has brought huge levels of innovation and has been a valued member since his early days in the company to his move into management. During his time in the MEP team, Sougato has executed several big projects and has been at the forefront of moves to streamline the process of project management. He has been highly influential in the retention of Pinnacle’s prime clients and has continued to show an exemplary commitment to his role as an innovator and manager. In his new role, he is supposed to take the sole lead of the entire MEP department at Durgapur delivery centre. All MEP Project Heads (PHODs) will be administratively and functionally reporting to Mr. Sougato Banerjee with immediate effect.
D. Pinnacle organized PPL Final & DJ Nite on 16th June 2017
PPL Final and DJ Nite was organized by Pinnacle on 16th of June, 2017.
E. Health Check Up Camp’17 at PIS
Pinnacle organized Health Check up Camp in the month of July, 2017. Employees who have given their blood sample collected their reports and consulted doctor for free consultation and BP check.
F. Reward & Recognition (R & R)
Pinnacle Infotech nominated team members for the Reward & Recognition Program to acknowledge and appreciate exceptional contribution and merit of employees from Jan to Jun 2017, to be held on 06 Aug 2017 along with the cultural show. The R&R Awards initiative aimed to encourage employees to continue with the good work and showcase the achievements and motivate other members of the workforce.

I. Runner Up award in Best Enterprise Category
Pinnacle Infotech received Runner Up award in Best Enterprise Category during NASSCOM EAST IT Awards 2017. Pinnacle won the prestigious Runner Up Award for exceptional contribution in the IT Sector with exemplary works and projects delivered. The award was given on 6th of July at JW Marriott, Kolkata at 6 pm. Hon’ble Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee was the chief guest at the event. The award evening was also attended by all the NASSCOM Executive Council members and many other eminent guests. It’s a significant achievement for Pinnacle Infotech.
J. Pinnacle Infotech’s new Global IT Delivery Centre to be Inaugurated by Hon’bleChief Minister of Rajasthan at Mahindra World City, Jaipur
Pinnacle Infotech to launch its7th Global Delivery Centre at Mahindra World City, Jaipur, India on Friday, August 4, 2017. The World class Centre to be inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan Smt. Vasundhara Raje. The Jaipur centre is being setup with an investment of Rs 100 crores to provide employment to 1100 Engineers, Architects, IT and other professionals, when fully operational. The new facility is world-class with latest workstations and servers, network and security system, power-backup and all allied services. Pinnacle has already applied for LEED Platinum certification for the project and confident of achieving it. Already 260 Engineers and Architects have been hired from different colleges in Rajasthan and have been trained at Pinnacle head office in Durgapur. The team is now working on global iconic projects across the world such as Kingdom Tower in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – the tallest building in the world -1.1 km tall, Muscat &Salalah Airport, Oman, Hospitals in Saudi Arabia. Several offshore clients of Pinnacle from USA, UK , Gulf Countries , Australia and New Zealand visited Pinnacle’s Durgapur office after attending the inauguration ceremony at Jaipur.
