Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to lead business growth efforts for the Japan region within the Building Information Modelling (BIM) industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving sales and client relationships across the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) sectors. A strong understanding of digital construction trends, and the regional market landscape in Japan is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate revenue from NEW Accounts and consistently meet or surpass quarterly and yearly sales goals through effective client engagement and solution-based selling.
• Achieve and exceed NEW sales targets set for the Japan market.
• Conduct both cold and warm calls to identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and promote tailored solutions aligned with client needs.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the company’s footprint for Japan Region.
• Identify potential clients across public and private sectors, including infrastructure, Design, Engineering, Railways, manufacturing, and government projects.
• Conduct competitor analysis and market research to refine positioning and understand the unique needs of the Japanese market.
• Present BIM capabilities, case studies, and tailored solutions to stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Maintain regular sales pipeline reports and forecasts for management review.
• Promote the company’s BIM services and digital transformation expertise across the Japanese AEC industry.
• Maintain and regularly update the database to ensure accurate and organized client and lead information.
• Must generate new business exceeding 12 times annual salary.
• Incentives will be provided upon achievement of targets.
Requirements:
• Japanese Language Proficiency: JLPT N2.
• Proven experience in Business Development or sales.
• Experienced to live in Japan for study or Job (min 5 year).
• Strong understanding of Japanese business culture.
• Relevant experience is preferred but not require.
