GIS/Civil 3D Specialist

Job Description:

  • 5+ years of experience with Esri ArcGIS Suite (Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, Online Apps. and Portal)
  • Review or manage BIM/GIS/ Civil 3D deliverables submitted by various contractors in line with DAEP Requirements.
  • Extensive knowledge of data creation, conversion & migration from different formats to ArcGIS data model. (Preferably from BIM to GIS)
  • Preparing and managing site utilities with correct connectivity role and utility networking.
  • Administer all aspects of ArcGIS Server, Portal and Insight, including performance monitoring and tuning, service configuration, security, and licensing.
  • Review /manage design and drafting of civil infrastructure projects (roads, drainage, utilities, etc.) using Civil 3D. Developing 3D surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, and grading plans.
  • Proven documentation skills with ability to create high-quality and complete GIS & BIM project documents Based on ISO Standards. (19100 Series & 19650)
  • Review or manage BIM /GIS Execution plan as per DAEP standards.
  • Maintaining quality assurance (QA/QC) for all GIS & BIM deliverables.
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and QGIS.
  • Review modelling, clash detection and issue resolution using tools like Revit or Navisworks.
  • Proficient in migrating GIS data using FME Tools.
  • Develop /manage GIS web application using ArcGIS Enterprise (on-premises environment).
  • Lead documentation using Microsoft office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

 

Secondary tasks will include:

 

  1. Able to read and interpret plans and specifications.
  2. Maintain accurate records, as per DAEP Standards.
  3. Ability to coordinate with team members of other trades.

 

Software Proficiencies

GIS Software:

  • ArcGIS Suite (Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, Online Apps. and Portal)
  • ArcGIS Pro (3.2 or Latest)
  • ArcGIS Enterprise (11.3 or latest), Geoserver, ArcSDE.
  • ArcGIS Apps (Dashboard, ArcGIS Online, Survey 123, Fieldmaps, Indoor, Utility Network)

BIM Software:

  • Revit (2023 or Latest), Navisworks.

CAD Software:

  • AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Map3D (2023 or Latest),

  2. Having Extensive Knowledge of BIM and GIS software.
  3. Minimum of 05 years of experience.
