Why was it developed?

The user generally requires the Naviswork application to check clash detection and other coordination-related issues to purify the coordinated model. They have to append multiple model files into the Navisworks common platform to check the details for this task. However, they need to check whether they appended the correct file into the same interface. On the other hand, they may also require some verification of whether the appended files belong to the current or updated location or not. Hence, the Pinnacle RnD team developed the Location Extractor add-in to simplify listing all appended files with updated locations and file names.
