Originally built by the London Power Company in 1929 to the design of Leonard Pearce, the Battersea Power Station is one of the world’s largest brick buildings. The decommissioned industrial behemoth was notable for its original Art Deco interior fittings and décor.

In recent years, this iconic Wandsworth landmark has been revived to provide 386 new homes at affordable rents and for shared ownership. Inspired by London’s classic red brick mansion blocks, the plan entails seven blocks of up to 18 stories arranged around a garden square that sits at the heart of the site.

Pinnacalites issued a number of RFI’s proposing solutions for Coordination & Constructability Issues at the Battersea Power Station. We maintained a log related to these design issues & feasible solutions which we shared with the client at frequent intervals.
