Based on client feedback, we’ve put together a quick guide to answer our most common questions.
Pinnacle delivers digital solutions across four connected pillars: Digital Design (DD) for concept and design-stage modeling, BIM Engineering & Construction (BEC) for coordinated engineering and construction-stage BIM, Digital Construction Management (DCM) for schedule, cost, and field coordination, and Digital Operations Management (DOM) for facilities and asset performance after handover. Together, these let Architects, Engineers, Owners, and Contractors work off one connected digital thread from concept through decades of operation — rather than a single service handed off between disconnected vendors. Pinnacle has delivered these solutions to 2,600+ clients across 47+ countries for over 30 years.
BEC (BIM Engineering & Construction) builds on Pinnacle’s original BIM discipline but extends it explicitly into construction-stage engineering support — not just modeling and coordination, but active support through the build itself. It sits alongside Digital Design (earlier, concept-stage work) and hands off into Digital Construction Management and Digital Operations Management, so nothing gets lost between phases.
Pinnacle supports the entire construction lifecycle through its four integrated service pillars: Digital Design, BIM Engineering & Construction, Digital Construction Management, and Digital Operations Management. Together, these pillars create a connected delivery ecosystem that spans from project planning and design to construction execution and long-term facility operations.
3D BIM is the digital model that holds the geometric components and data representing a building in three dimensions. 4D BIM links the model to the project schedule so you can visualize construction sequences, phasing, and progress over time before a single brick is laid. 5D BIM adds cost data to the model that includes material quantity and pricing data. It enables accurate quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, and, when integrated with Pinnacle’s DCM platform, supports budget tracking in real-time. Under our BIM modeling services, we deliver 3D models from LOD 100 to LOD 500, with 4D and 5D integration, as required.
Pinnacle’s AECO solutions reduce the four biggest costs in construction projects: rework, delays, coordination failures, and information loss. Built on insights from over 18000 projects, our workflows help clients achieve:
Pinnacle’s team works across the full range of industry-standard BIM and design tools. For modeling and coordination: Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud. For structural and rebar: Tekla Structures and RebarCAD. For MEP: MagiCAD and Autodesk Fabrication. For civil and infrastructure: Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads. For visualization: Lumion and Enscape.
Yes. Pinnacle holds the following ISO certifications relevant to AECO project delivery: ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management), LRQA-certified: ISO 19650-2 (delivery phase), 19650-3 (operational phase), 19650-5 (security-minded management), and ISO 27001:2022 (Information Security Management). These certifications mean that Pinnacle manages your project data under audited and internationally recognized quality security protocols. Hence, Pinnacle is a verified-compliant partner for clients in government, healthcare, infrastructure, and regulated sectors where ISO compliance is a tender requirement.
Pinnacle supports clients across the globe through its network of Global Delivery Centers and international offices. We have a strong presence in key markets, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Singapore, Japan, Australia, and India, delivering end-to-end digital engineering, BIM, VDC, Digital Twin, and construction management solutions. Over the past three decades, we have successfully delivered 18,000+ projects across 47+ countries, including Switzerland, France, Spain, Poland, Indonesia, and many other regions worldwide. Our globally distributed teams work across time zones to provide seamless collaboration and responsive support throughout the project lifecycle.
Cost depends on which pillar (or combination of pillars) your project needs, along with project size, complexity, and timeline:
Digital Design (DD) — priced by design scope and deliverables (concept modeling, architectural/structural/MEP design, value engineering).
BIM Engineering & Construction (BEC) — typically scoped per discipline, model complexity, and level of development (LOD) required for coordination and construction support.
Digital Construction Management (DCM) — priced around site logistics, documentation volume, and estimation needs during the build phase.
Digital Operations Management (DOM) — usually structured as a facilities/CMMS engagement (via InnoMaint) with pricing based on portfolio size, asset count, and ongoing support level.
Because most engagements combine two or more pillars — for example, BEC through construction handing off into DOM for operations — Pinnacle typically provides a custom quote after understanding your project scope, timeline, and which phases of the lifecycle you need support for.
