Challenge: Completing the project within a limited timeframe
Solution: Delivered the work within the allotted timeframe through efficient execution.
Challenge: Discrepancies in wet wall locations and corridor wall types.
Solution: Specified 6-inch W2A wood-stud walls between suites and 4-inch W2 corridor walls, maintaining a clear width of 5'-2" on both floors.
Challenge: Dimension rounding to the nearest 1/32 inch resulted in numerous fractional dimensions.
Solution: Consulted the client on the appropriate dimensioning approach.
Challenge: A curtain wall clashed with a perpendicular wall.
Solution: Submitted the issue to the client for review and resolution.
Challenge: A prefabricated metal canopy indicated in the input documents was missing from the model.
Solution: Requested client clarification on the canopy requirements.
Challenge: Ceiling information was missing for Suite 133.
Solution: Modeled a 10-foot acoustical ceiling based on the adjacent suite for client review.
Challenge: Coordination issues included structural studs at window and door openings, duplicate wood trellis families, HSS steel below the ceiling, and misaligned stair and steel positions.
Solution: Flagged the discrepancies for client review and clarification.
Challenge: The structural model specified 5½-inch studs, while the architectural model indicated a 1'-8" wall thickness.
Solution: Requested client confirmation of the correct wall thickness.
