Pinnacle created the 3D BIM models for Seaglass at Bonita Bay – a Residential Construction with thirty Floors, each divided into fifteen areas including various units such as residential, penthouse, roof, and more. The purpose of creating the 3D Models for the MEP services is clash coordination and generation of coordinated shop drawings.

Value Added

We have raised 10+ RFIs pertaining to missing data, conflicting data, and constructability issues. For example, ducts were clashing with the ceiling to make a proper connection with the plenum due to insufficient space between slab and ceiling.

Moreover, the 10″ Flex Duct could not be connected with the main duct as the given duct height was only 8″. Hood Ducts were also clashing with the ceiling due to insufficient space. Besides, there was a mismatch between diffuser and duct size as the Duct (12″x8″) height 8″ was less than the diffuser connection size of 10″.

We checked the structural, mechanical, and plumbing system clashes and design errors in the building and eliminated the need to make costly construction changes on site. Owing to the parametric dimensional view, automated collision check done by our team has led to risk mitigation and error correction.
