Challenge 1: Occasionally, obtaining information from other stakeholders during coordination proved difficult. We frequently encountered delays while awaiting additional information and references for project execution.
Solution 1: To address this issue, we proactively completed the entire model using fundamental information early on. We then shared this preliminary model with the client and other stakeholders, allowing them to identify critical areas in advance and update their own models accordingly.
Challenge 2: We were required to commence the entire task without adhering to any established drawing standards. Consequently, we relied on client reviews and annotations to finalize the job.
Solution 2: Given that we embarked on a new project in a region with unique requirements, specifically in generating civil service shop drawings, there existed no predefined drawing standard. Therefore, leveraging our expertise and a few sample drawings, we formulated a comprehensive standard for the entire project, encompassing models, shop drawings, and coordination of various services. This standard was shared with the client for their review and approval. Subsequently, the project proceeded successfully in accordance with the agreed-upon standard.
We resolved several data conflicts by raising RFIs about those. Multiple structural configurations were adjusted to prevent clashes. These modifications were implemented through advanced software applications and put through exhaustive scrutiny to achieve the utmost precision and streamline time efficiency.
