Masar Package A

Located at the Western threshold of Al-Haram Mosque, the Masar Urban Development Project is a large-scale master plan that helped enhance both the visitors’ urban experience and pilgrims’ movement from mass transit nodes toward the holy site in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The Masar project covers an area of approximately 1.2 million square meters and the site has been divided into plots of varying sizes.

Masar Package A is located at the Gateway to Al-Haram Mosque, acting as the key hub that will connect the various public transport networks serving the district. With prominent views towards the cultural and spiritual heart of the city, the scheme includes two 5-star hotel buildings, one 4-star hotel building, a high-end residential tower, and two retail buildings that have together set the architectural direction for the Masar Project Makkah.

Challenges & Solutions:

Challenge :

Coordination with other services was a challenge. There were critical space constraints and compliance issues that made the cross-service coordination and BIM implementation an upfront challenge while we worked towards offerings expert MEP Services Saudi Arabia.

Solution :

We chaired a weekly coordination meeting with the engineering team to resolve issues arising due to space constraints and proposed apt solutions to best fit the specific requirements of the project.

Pinnacle’s Value Addition:

As a global expert in BIM coordination services, Pinnacle suggested various feasible options to enhance coordination and reduce material costs through the phases of BIM MEP coordination services. This included rerouting ducts and pipes, reducing the number of fitments, and optimum application of electrical supplies and equipment throughout the plan.
