BIM Coordinator – HVAC Duct

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of work experience in US construction industry
• Experience in BIM modeling and drafting of commercial duct systems.
• Experience with duct shop standards and workflows, from coordinated models to spool breakouts.
• Willingness to Travel.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360 and other related software.
• Skilled in reading construction drawings and interpreting project specifications.
• Experience of leading and contributing to BIM Coordination meetings.
• Mechanical Code & SMACNA Knowledge.
• Effective Communication.
• Field experience is desired.

Role & Responsibility:

  •  Working with customers and India teams to deliver BIM modeling of duct systems.
  • Build revenue with existing customers by expanding project scope, introducing additional service offerings, and increasing market share through trust and long-term relationship development.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines in BIM coordination meetings.
  • Adhere to BEP (BIM Execution Plan) and BIM project workflow criteria.
  • Follow BIM content standards and development procedures.
  •  Help creation of shop drawings to provide to the field.
  • Leverage BIM software and tools.
  • Conduct QA/QC on work products delivered by India based teams.
  • Work with the superintendents and field personnel to understand installation means and methods.
  • Attend kick-off meetings, coordination meetings and weekly review meetings.
  • Coordinate with other trades within the team and visit to the customer office as and when required.
  • Maintain a high level of verbal and written communication between customer and production team.
