Health Sciences Park Garage

Health Sciences Park Garage features a ten-story car parking near Houston. The facility is spread in a 350,000 square feet area offering approximately 80 parking spots per floor.

 

Pinnacle’s Scope of Work:

 

Pinnacle was responsible for creating a 3D concrete model of the Park Garage in Houston Texas, including slabs, beams, columns, grade beams, footings, walls, and ramps.

 

Challenges Faced and Resolution:

There were several discrepancies between the plan and section details that were provided to us. As a result, we had to raise multiple RFIs to clarify the information for the Car Parking Area in Houston. In some cases, the client did not have the necessary information and we had to wait until the next meeting to receive an answer. This caused delays in the submission of the 3D modeling services project. Hence, we proposed the best possible solution as per our experience working on other BIM outsourcing projects.

As per our BIM services discussion with the client, we created and submitted a clarification log after every weekly meeting. This log enabled the client to directly share it with their vendor to get answers to any questions we may have. Additionally, we arranged weekly meetings to update the client on our progress and discuss the suggestions and solutions we provided.
