Mattamy Homes Home Builders

Mattamy Homes is a Canadian real estate firm who are renowned residential Home Builders in Florida. Founded in 1978 by Peter Gilgan, Mattamy Homes is Canada’s largest residential home builder and is ranked among the top 25 builders in the United States. The initiative encompassed the completion of 12,600 gross square feet of interior finishes within the Moody Center, specifically for the locker rooms dedicated to the men’s, women’s, and visiting basketball teams, as well as the retail store areas.

 

Pinnacle Infotech worked mainly on architectural drawings, plumbing 3D models, and BIM coordination for the residential project. While working on the project we had a close interaction with the top home builders in the United States to learn about their project plans and requirements in the project for 3D modeling services and BIM coordination services to decide on the functional pathway to ensure the best results from the project.

Challenges & Solutions:

 

Challenge 1 Submittal drawings needed to be dealt with precision as the plumbing structure was complex.

Solution 1 Our team had in-depth know-how of the submittal drawings and standards acceptable for the city council. It gave a better understanding of structural modeling to deal with the complexity of the plumbing routes.

Challenge 2 Long-term utility and scalability of the building facilities needed to be addressed at all functional capacities.

Solution 2 Through our technical proficiency, we efficiently dealt with object styles and project parameters to have constructional scalability. Created an in-house library of families to ease the work in the long run and for last-minute changes.

 

Pinnacle's Value Addition:

 

We tried to maintain minimum routing for modeling while we were presented with heavy routes in the design layout. It significantly helped in minimizing the cost of the project.
