Meadowbrook Housing is a 10 storied residential building project and Ontario’s largest “passive house” complex at 3100 Meadowbrook Lane. The building was spread over nearly 76370 sq ft of area. The owner of the project, AGF Rebar Inc., entrusted us with 550 tons (Approx.) of Rebar detailing work.

Scope of Work:

The work scope covered all building elements of Footing, Retaining Wall, SOG, Column, Grade Beam, Slab, etc. Our scope on 2D rebar shop drawing and BBS with the use of Rebar CAD software version 2020.

Challenges:

Multiple changes in pouring consideration after fabrication of rebars and site safety consideration based on
rebar placement had its challenges.

Solution

The team placed a field adjustment note to utilize the fabricated bars per the previous release of the bar list. We
had detailed candy cane dowel bar for site safety.
