Challenge:

Despite the relatively small scale of the project, the complexity of the input drawings posed significant challenges for BIM execution. Additionally, the intricacies involved in detailing the stair soffit and plan drawings further compounded the project's difficulties. These specific aspects demanded meticulous attention to detail and innovative problem-solving to ensure accuracy and precision throughout the project execution process.

Solution:

We meticulously examined the drawings, consistently overlaying the new ones with the previous iterations to ensure no details were overlooked during the creation of the shop drawings. We completed the work within the stipulated time frame even when we faced many hindrances in the process by adding more resources and making additional efforts to match up the delivery timelines. Also, we overcame issues related to stairs by keeping the concrete contractor and client in the close loop of project communication.

During the project execution stage, we raised a number of RFIs regarding missing information and discrepancies in structural and architectural aspects. The client/designer changed their Foundation Plan Drawings and other specified drawings based on our raised issues. We were able to execute the Blake Apartments project in the stipulated time with our proficient processes and streamlined approach to delivering services for projects that involve high-precision drawings and integrated value enhancements.
